10 Simple Remedies for Cracked Heels

Having cracked heel is not only uncomfortable, but also not pleasing physically. Therefore, if you are being problematic about such, it is apparent that something should be done in order to find a remedy about it.

The good thing is that you do not have to spend too much in buying products that are commercially available as there are simple home remedies that can be taken into consideration.

1. Vegetable Oil

Generally speaking, any kind of oil can be used for cracked heel, but vegetable oil is preferred by many people because of its ease of access. It is a natural moisturizer, which basically explains why you can expect such to work effectively. Use a pumice stone for foot scrub and rinse. The rice flour paste will be used to scrub your feet after soaking it for a couple of minutes.

6. Indian Lilac

Also known as margosa leaves and Neem, Indian lilac is high in terms of fungicidal properties. Take out a couple of lilac leaves and have it pounded. After which, add at least three teaspoons of turmeric powder. Make sure that it is mixed well in order to create a paste, which you will then apply to your heel. Wash it with warm water afterwards and pat dry with a clean cloth.

7. Vinegar

9. Glycerin and Rosewater

Glycerin has gained reputation for being one of the best moisturizers. Rosewater, on the other hand, is popular for being rich in vitamins and antiseptic properties. The combination of the two, without a doubt, will be effective in the treatment of cracked heels. All you need to do is to mix equal amounts of rosewater and glycerin and rub in on the heels nightly before going to bed.

10.Petroleum Jelly
