Detox versus Cleaning – What Is the Difference?

We use the words detox or body cleansing in the same connotation, but they have different meanings.

What do we mean when talking about detox? The goal of the detox is eliminate toxins from the body, by turning them into a waste that we throw out (from smoking cigarettes, chemicals, heavy metals and other environmental elements).

It is especially important to carry out detoxification and to clear pathways of the main organ – the liver.

Detox implies change in the diet and lifestyle. It can also include consuming herbal supplements, visiting saunas for therapeutic sweating.

Cleaning versus detox, implies cleaning of the digestive tract. In this process elimination of fecal material, toxins, parasites and fungi from the digestive tract is carried out.

When you plan to cleanse your body, eliminate the following foods: dairy products, eggs, gluten, soy, corn, refined sugar, caffeine, processed food and alcohol.

Some signs that you have toxins in the body:

  • Dizziness
