Natural Ways to Get Rid of Mucus from Throat and Lungs

For the preparation of this natural remedy, you need a cup of warm water, in which you add a teaspoon of turmeric powder and half a teaspoon of salt. With this mixture, rinse your throat three to four times a day making a gargle, but don’t swallow it.


Inhalation with hot steam is a great way to open the clogged airway. In addition, it is very simple and can be done at home several times a day, every time when you feel need.

All you need is a large bowl or pot, 1-2 liters of boiled water, dried herbs or essential oils and a large towel. In the bowl, pour the boiling water, add 1-2 teaspoons of herbs (for example: rosemary and thyme). Place your head above the bowl with water and cover with towel for the vapor not to come out. Breathe deeply above the water for about 5-10 minutes until you feel better.
