Preparation and use oil from wort to treat skin diseases

St. John’s wort has long been known for its medicinal properties and has a large application in traditional medicine and pharmaceutical industry. Products from wort – tea, oil, tincture has long been used against burns, hemorrhoids,wounds ,depression, pain in stomach, intestinal parasites, diarrhea, colds, cough and asthma. St. John’s wort has antibacterial activity and is a natural antiseptic.

The oil is prepared from florets of St. John’s wort and can be used for healing of:

– Burns from the sun

– Massage against pain in the waist, muscles and joints

– Accelerating the healing of wounds and cuts

– Bruises

– Massage of the breast, after radiation treatment

– Bee sting

– Varicose veins

Necessary ingredients for oil from wort are:

– Fresh florets of wort

– Cold pressed oil – the best is use from olive or sunflower

Method of preparation

1.The florets from St. John’s wort put in a glass jar ,then add cold pressed oil. The quantity of florets and oil depends on the size of jar, it is important that, should entire jar to be fill with florets.

2.The jar is kept for 40 days in the sun,with occasional stirring of ingredients.

3.Oil then should be drain through a strainer with canvas, after that to placed in dark glass jar. The oil should is stored in a cool dark place, and used within one year. This oil is applied in a small amount on skin several times during the day.
